Databases and Open Source technology enthusiast. Vittorio has spent the past  ten years working for world leading technology companies, focusing on many aspects of technology and business: like infrastructure and security aspects of the application layer, but also middleware and web performance.

Recently  his long-standing passion for open-source technology and databases led him to Oracle, joining the MySQL Global Business Unit.  MySQL is  the leading open source database on the market and in his current role Vittorio, helps  leading customers across Europe and the Middle East  to successfully shape their projects.  Vittorio loves to share his love for open source software and technology speaking regularly at leading technology conferences such as DevOps Days, OpenSource Day, HighLoad++, etc.
